Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for 5,000+ words.
I am woefully behind schedule on my 50,000 word novel. I could list the reasons why, but that would be a waste of precious words.
Today, I wrote for hours to try and catch up. 5,000+ words later, I'm feeling much better. The rules remind me that quantity not quality will win the day. I am still behind in my word count but plan to make up the difference a little bit at a time for the remaining days of the challenge. Writing a novel in 30 days is really hard work!
For this blessing, I am grateful.
