Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for a perfect climbing day.
I'm suffering from the early holiday blues so we took the afternoon off and headed to Red Rock Canyon for a few hours of climbing. The weather cooperated, blessing us with warm temperatures, clear blue skies and calm winds. S and I have yet to attempt one last route on the Solar Slab - the difficult 5.11. We thought about trying it but S was a bit stiff from his hard Wednesday workout. We still hope to climb the 5.11 before winter weather settles in the region. We think that Sunday will be our next best chance at achieving this goal.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
