Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for 21 years.
My, how time flies. I just realized that we have lived in Colorado Springs and in this house for 21 years. That's a long time to spend in one place.
I need to think about this milestone for a while. I'm not sure if I should celebrate our longevity or mourn the fact that we haven't lived elsewhere, in other cities, in other countries, in other houses.
In any event, year 22 begins.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
Amen.
