Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for daily opportunities to take care of Mother Earth.
I'm no longer self-conscious when I pick up trash or collect recyclable aluminum cans and plastic bottles during our daily walks. Others may wonder what the heck I'm doing. I don't care. The environment is my "cause" and "issue." Keeping the park clean is just one way I can meet my commitments, do my part, set a good example.
So, if you see a petite woman picking up trash and cans in the culvert, don't worry. It's just me - with T by my side, of course. Stop by and say hello!
For this blessing, I am grateful.
