Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for one floppy hat.
My hairdresser wasn't pleased to learn that I don't wear a hat when I'm gardening, walking T or hiking. She explained (again) that the UV rays fade the rich dark browns and brilliant reds and purples she uses to paint my hair. Why bother (and why spend all that money) if I don't take care of my hair?
So, my newest habit is wearing a hat whenever I'm outdoors for more than a few minutes. My favorite is the floppy and floatable Tilley I bought when we first moved to Colorado.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
