Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for a chance meeting.
Vicki and I worked together about ten years ago at Digital Equipment Corporation. I was the communications manager for the Americas, and she was the talented graphic designer/desktop publisher who prepared my publications. Although we went our separate ways in 1997, we run into each other at the oddest times.
A few years ago, we ran into each other in the parking lot of a popular strip mall. Today, we met in a grocery aisle at King Soopers. This time, we intend to keep in touch by meeting regularly at a neighborhood coffee shop that's close to our homes. I think we'll both benefit from the renewed friendship.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
