Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for another UCLA victory (and a trip to the Final Four).
I attended UCLA from 1972-78, earning a BS in '76 and completing two years of graduate studies. My Bruin experience included lots of championship basketball, countless 8-claps, Bill Walton and company, and the final Johnny Wooden years. So, please excuse my great passion for my alma mater and my delight over its recent victories in the NCAA basketball tournament.
Once a Bruin, always a Bruin. Especially when it comes to basketball.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
Amen.
