Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for doggie kisses.
T, our very affectionate chocolate Lab, is a kisser and licker.
"Doggie kisses," I exclaim when I notice the dry, chalky residue on S's sleeve or my just-pressed jeans.
"Doggie kisses," we explain to our neighbors as we scrub the inside of the truck's windows.
"Doggie kisses," I whisper as T's cold, wet nose touches my cheek.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
Amen.
