Monday, 15 August 2005 - Homemade mashed potatoes

Dear God:

Today, I am thankful for homemade mashed potatoes - steaming hot and perfectly seasoned.

I used organic Yukon golds and flavored the dish with crushed garlic, celtic salt, olive oil, fresh basil, and soy milk. It's the perfect comfort food for an unseasonably cool, wet day.

For this blessing, I am grateful.
