Dear God:Today, I am thankful for insect repellent.

Unfortunately, we forgot to take a bottle of repellent with us for use during our early evening hike in Red Rock Canyon (cooler temperatures for us but prime time for the mosquitos). I also forgot to bring my lightweight cotton jacket with the high collar. My mistakes since I'm the one who's sensitive to bug bites.
Consequently, tonight, I'm nursing very tender mosquito bites on my neck, right shoulder, left hand and left forearm.
(sigh) Another well-learned but painful lesson.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
