Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for warmer weather.
During winter, the weather governs many of our activities. Too cold, windy or icy and we're confined to home. Warmer weather means we take T for longer walks, I run my errands as scheduled, and we anticipate our next climbing and hiking adventure.
Well, today, warmer temperatures reigned. A good thing, too. M, our Air Force Academy cadet, finished his last final exam (chemistry) this morning. S picked him up around 1 PM and brought him back so he could eat lunch with us and relax for a few hours. At 3:30 PM, they left for the airport.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
Amen.
