Today, I am thankful for excellent prospects.
Charles Dickens regularly described his protagonists' "prospects" - rating them poor through excellent based on the person's class standing in Victorian England.
I rate my current prospects in our challenging economy as "promising." Hopefully, they'll soon rise to "excellent" as I refine my get-a-great-job game plan and as my daily actions produce favorable results.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
