Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for buckets of rain.
The heavens burst open twice today, sending us torrents of rain and hail pellets to water our lawns and gardens and feed the thirsty water table. This weekend, the wet earth should be very "diggable" - perfect for preparing new homes for the 10 lovely perennials I bought today at Kmart.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
Amen.
