Dear God:
Today, I am thankful that we are accessible to friends and acquaintances.
Yesterday, our neighbor, Paul, called around 7 AM to ask if one of us could drive him to the Denver airport. His father had a stroke over the weekend, and he needed to get home to Ohio to see his family through the initial days of the crisis. My husband, who owns his own consulting practice and works from home, didn't hesitate to say, "yes." How wonderful that Paul felt he could ask us for help on such short notice and that we could respond so quickly to his request.
For this blessing, I am very grateful.
Amen.
