Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for a warm sunny day.
This sudden break in the cold weather surprised me this morning. I didn't wear a jacket or gloves during my walk with T - my favorite cotton sweatshirt sufficed. I opened the back door to air the house - felt good to flush out the staleness and welcome in fresh air. My heart wants to believe that spring has arrived a few months early, but my brain reminds me that winter will return soon. I'd better enjoy this lovely day while I can.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
