Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for generous hearts.
The tragedy in SE Asia weighs heavily on my mind these days. One person can only do so much to alleviate the suffering and jumpstart the recovery. Collectively, we can change the world for the better. I thank those who can give so much more money than I to the relief effort. And I honor those who are doing the actual work of caring for the survivors.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
Amen.
