Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for the "C" in physical education that my first grade teacher gave me. It's one of the key events of my life.
As a result of this distasteful event (I was an A student in all other subjects), I vowed to earn only A's in PE from that day forward (a goal that I achieved). And, although I didn't know it then, I was embarking on my life's uncertain journey as a bonafide health nut!
For this blessing, I am grateful.
Amen.
