Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for Colorado's fall colors.
Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.
~Elizabeth Lawrence
As we hike through Red Rock Canyon towards our climbing destination, we marvel at the intense rusts, reds and golds that now replace the summer greens we're accustomed to seeing. We walk slowly towards our climbing destination, lost in thought. Even T's mood is subdued. Mine is wistful and a bit sad. I still don't know if this will be our last Colorado autumn.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
Amen.
