Dear God:
Today, I am thankful for a Saturday hike.
No climbing this weekend despite the glorious weather. S is out of town, and I can't climb by myself. So T and I go to Red Rock Canyon for a late morning hike. The trail is still inconveniently muddy and slushy. I walk slowly along the path, constantly looking for the driest route. I don't want to slip and fall in the muck. T fares much better. Must be his all-weather paws.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
Amen.
