Today, I am thankful for ripening tomatoes.
One very ripe and sweet tomato comprised my first harvest. It was worth the wait. 'Twas incredibly sweet and, well, tomato-ey.
My taste buds reminded me why we should grow our own fruits and vegetables. I'm already planning next year's vegetable and berry garden.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
