Today, I am thankful for a cleansing season.
Dewdrop, let me cleanse
in your brief
sweet waters ...
These dark hands of life.

Raindrop washings.
Dewy splashes.
Sips of steamy ginger tea.
Pools.
Puddles.
Dripping eaves.
I welcome them all
When cleansing season arrives.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
