Sunday, 19 June 2005 - Men of influence

Dear God:

Today, I am thankful for the men who have greatly influenced my life:

• My dad
• My husband
• My brother-in-law, Bob
• My friends including Harlan P. (from childhood) and Doyle H. (from UCLA)
• My mentors including Ed C., Jeff R., Mr. T., Dr. Z, and Mr. H.

I am also thankful for canine sons: Y, our very intelligent and brawny black Lab who died in 1997, and T, our "always a puppy" chocolate Lab who continues to fill our lives with joy, laughter and excitement.

For these blessings, I am very grateful.
