Today, I am thankful for soft, moist earth - perfect for digging.
The cold weather and new storm took their time entering the region, giving me a few hours to dig in the backyard garden. Thankfully, the clay soil was soft and moist from yesterday's rain shower. Using my trusty pick axe, I removed scores of buffalo grass clumps and weeds from the "formal" garden areas.
For this blessing, I am grateful.
